The NCBCA has announced the winners of the 2021 PGC Awards.

Our PGC Heart of A Champion winners are Olivia Ellis from Bunker Hill HS and Chris Brown from Statesville HS.

Our partners at PGC Basketball selected these two recipients from among the more than 20 players nominated by their coaches or Athletic Directors.  These two epitomized the essence of the Heart of A Champion award, which recognizes one male and one female basketball player who have overcome significant personal challenges or adversities in their lives or careers with courage, determination, and an unrelenting spirit. Special consideration is given to candidates who have found ways to positively influence and lead others within their team, school, or community despite their personal circumstances. The winners receive free tuition, room, and meals to attend any PGC Camp of their choice.

Our PGC Transformational Coach of the Year winners are Sylvia White from Newton-Conover HS and Greg Wright from R-S Central HS.

Our partners at PGC Basketball selected these two recipients from among the more than 25 coaches nominated by their fellow coaches or Athletic Directors.  These two epitomized the essence of the Transformational Coach of the Year, which recognizes one girl's coach and one boy's coach who have had a transformational effect on the lives of their players and coaches and have had a significant positive impact at their school or within their community. The recipients are respected by their players and fellow coaches for their dedication, their positive approach, and their integrity on and off the court.    The winners receive free tuition, room, and meals to attend any PGC Coaching Clinic or Camp of their choice.
